한나라당도당은 성명서에서 “한탄강댐건설계획은 지난 5월 감사원 감사결과 기술적 절차적으로 문제점이 있고 경제적으로도 타당성이 없는 것으로 밝혀졌으나 정부는 모업체와 댐건설계약을 해놓고 현재까지 계약해지 조차 하지 않고 있다”고 했다.
