【鐵原】국내 최대의 철새도래지및 혹한지의 특성을 살린 전국 규모의 종합 겨울축제를 치루기 위한 `철원 두루미축제조직위' 출범식이 19일 오전 10시30분 군청상황실에서 각급 기관 단체장 등 80여명이 참석한 가운데 열린다.
18일 철원군에 따르면 올 말부터 내년초까지 10여일간 두루미를 통한 철원의 비전과 평화의 이미지를 전달하고 전통 겨울놀이를 재연하는 `2005 철원두루미축제'를 원활히 개최하기 위해 두루미축제조직위를 구성하기로 했다.
이날 발족되는 조직위는 위원장에 김준수문화원장, 위원은 군의원 및 사회단체장 등이 내정됐다.
2005 두루미축제는 현재 고석정 국민관광단지를 메인 행사장으로 하고 토교저수지와 아이스크림 고지를 두루미 탐조존, 백마고지 기념관 등을 부대행사장으로 계획, 추진하고 있다.
또 두루미의 희귀성과 가치를 집중 부각시키기 위해 고석정국민관광단지에 겨울놀이문화존과 철원군 홍보전시존, 두루미탐조 및 체험존, 공연행사존 등을 구성하며 겨울밤 정취를 살린 야간놀이문화와 조명시설을 갖출 예정이다.
주요행사로는 군민들의 안녕과 새해소망을 기원하기 위해 12월31일 백마고지 타종식과 함께 학춤공연, 빙벽타기, 얼음조각전, 한탄강 트래킹, 인공 스케이트장및 썰매장 조성, 혹한지 음식전, 얼음수영대회, 얼음축구대회, 얼음낚시대회, 썰매대회 등 각종 이벤트 행사 등을 통해 국내 최대의 철새월동지임을 부각시키고 혹한지 특색을 적극 활용할 계획이다.
이에앞서 철원군은 내부적으로 김영칠부군수를 단장으로 하는 `2005 철원두루미축제 추진단'을 구성, 지난 11일 1차 겨울축제 성공개최방안 등을 협의했다.<李正國기자·jklee@kwnews.co.kr>
