2005한탄강 여름축제가 23일 오후 7시30분 개막축하공연을 시작으로 27일까지 5일간 개최된다.

【鐵原】2005년도 한탄강 여름축제가 오는 23일부터 27일까지 닷새동안 고석정국민관광지와 한탄강, 승일공원 등 3개소에서 개최된다.
이번 축제는 철원군이 관광객 유치를 통해 지역경기를 활성화하고 통일시대 한반도 중심지로서의 위상을 널리 알리기 위해 매년 여름철 마련하는 대형 이벤트이다.
23일 축제 첫날인 개막공연에는 태진아, 박상철, 문희옥, 춘자, 박주희 등 인기가수들이 대거 참석해 축제분위기를 고조시킨다.
24일에는 비무장지대와 철원평야에서 국제규모의 철인 3종경기와 함께 한탄강일원에서 서바이벌대회가 열리며 저녁에는 이상은, 마야, 에코 등 연예인을 초청한 축하공연이 화려하게 펼쳐진다.
또 25일 한탄강일대와 태봉대교에서는 스릴을 만끽할 수 있는 래프팅과 번지점프대회, 엄마 아빠가 함께하는 음악소풍(현악 4중주)과 연극 영화 등이 공연된다.
