귀고리 찬 1천500년전 가야인 인골 발굴 가야문화재연구소 창녕 송현동 고분조사 (서울=연합뉴스) 김태식 기자 = 귀고리를 찬 1천500년 전 가야 사람 인골이 발굴됐다. 국립가야문화재연구소(소장 강순형)는 유적 보존 정비 차원에서 경남 창녕군 창녕읍 송현동 고분군을 발굴조사한 결과 봉분 지름 20m가 넘는 대형 고분 2기를 비롯해 중형 고분 2기, 소형 석곽묘 6기, 제의(祭儀)와 관련된 매납 유구 2기, 묘역 조성과 관련된 주변시설 등을 확인했다고 20일 말했다. 대형 고분인 15호분은 도굴로 인해 유물 대부분이 사라졌지만 무덤 주인공과 함께 안치된 것으로 추정되는 순장자 4구의 시신이 발견됐다. 이 중 비교적 온전한 상태로 남은 순장자 1구의 인골은 금귀고리(지름 2㎝)를 하고 있었다. 이와 함께 국립경주박물관이 소장한 토기의 동물문양과 같은 무늬를 새긴 토기편 등이 고배(굽다리접시)를 비롯한 다른 토기류와 같이 수습됐다고 조사단은 덧붙였다. 이 외에도 15호분에서는 금동관 파편과 금반지, 금구슬 등의 화려한 장신구와 마구류 등이 일부 수습돼 이곳이 왕릉급 무덤임이 확인됐다. 15호분은 무덤방 한쪽(북쪽)에 입구를 마련한 횡구식(橫口式) 석실분(길이 856㎝, 너비 170㎝, 높이 225㎝)로 바닥과 천장, 그리고 벽면까지 회칠을 해서 내부를 마감했다. 8장 천장 뚜껑돌 바깥에는 사람 머리 크기 만한 돌을 쌓고 점토를 발라 밀봉함으로써 내부 석실을 보호한 적석 석실묘(積石石室墓) 구조로 밝혀졌다. 봉토는 바깥쪽에서 안쪽으로 경사지게 쌓고 외곽에는 호석(護石.두름돌)을 설치했으며 , 묘역의 효과적인
