- 한탄강댐반대철원군투쟁위 사퇴촉구 성명
한탄강댐반대철원군투쟁위(이하 투쟁위)는 26일 “곽결호 수자원공사사장이 환경부장관 시절의 소신과 논리가 표변했다”며 사퇴해야 한다는 내용의 성명을 발표했다.
투쟁위는 이날 성명서에서 “곽사장이 홍수조절을 위해 저류지 제방 등은 치수기능에 한계가 있을뿐더라 경제성도 낮은 만큼 댐 이외에 대안이 없다고 말했다”면서 “그렇다면 홍수방어를 위해 제방 축조 및 하천관리를 담당하는 건교부 산하 지방국토관리청이 한 일들은 모두 쓸데없는 예산 낭비였단 말이냐”고 질타했다.
이에따라 투쟁위는 수자원공사 곽사장의 용퇴와 함께 하천유역 주민들에 댐관리권과 물사용권을 이양해야 한다고 촉구했다. 이정국기자
