 다락대와 다락터의 차이.. 관인면 원래 그 지역의 고유명칭은
다락터 ( 다락 樓루 + 터 垈대 ) 라고 합니다.
그런데 국방부에서 명칭을 다락대라고 하고 있다고 합니다.
즉 순우리말을 쓰려면 온전히 '다락터'를 쓰던가?
아니면 한자어로 '루대'라고 하던가? 해야 한다는 (이우형님)
의견이셨습니다.
참고로 본인은 한자는 잘 모름 ? 위 한자가 맞는지 모르겠네요.
다락터 (현 연천읍 부곡리)는
철원의 1천년 역사속에 포함돼 온 구한말까지 철원군 관인면 부곡리입니다.
즉 일제출범 무렵 행정구역이 변경된 한 예라 하겠으며
접경지역이라는 희생의 올가미 역사속에 동양최대 군사격장으로 변해
과거의 부촌에서 황량한 억새밭으로 변한 동시에 마을과 마을, 사람과 사람들 사이를
단절시키게 되어 철원의 역사 문화성 단절을 가져오게 되는 현시대상를 만들게 된 것이라고 봅니다.
관인면은 결국 연천에서도 떠나
지역 정체성을 상실한 채 포천시의 무관심속에 최변방에서 댐으로 수몰될 위기에 있으며
현재 신음하고 있는 관인을 살려낼 주체가 철원군이라는 것 역시 관인의 역사성을 그대로 반영하고
있다고 봅니다.
관인면 유래 (대진대)
후삼국시대 태봉 궁예의 관리들이 관직을 버리고 성밖인 이지역에 모여 살았다고 한데서 유래되었다
고 한다.
고종 33년(1896)에는 강원도 철원군 관인면 이었다가 순종 3년(1909)에는 경기도 연천군에 편입되었
는데 당시 면소재지는 부곡리(釜谷理)였다.
1916년에 면소재지가 중리(中里) 신흥동(新興洞)으로 이전되었으며, 1913년에 면소재지는 다시 초과
리(初果理)남창동으로 이전되었다가 1954년 5월 15일 해방과 동시에 38선 이북으 로 북한괴뢰 치하
에 들어갔다.
1951년 5월 수복되어 1954년 수복지구 임시조치법에 의하여 행정권이 수복되어 연천군 관인면이 되
었다.
1983년 2월 15일 대통령령 제 110027호에 의하여 포천군에 편입되어 오늘에 이르고 있다.
그리고 부곡리(釜谷理)는 1988년 12월 22일 대통령령 제12557호에 의거 경기도 연천군 연천읍에 편
입되었다.
(조선의 철원 역사에 관인의 지역명은 변함없이 지속적으로 '관인'이라는 명칭으로 내려오는 것으로
보아 철원의 주요지역이었음을 알 수 있음.)
