 씨앤앰 채널4 다큐 주간(11.21일) 씨앤앰 채널4 다큐 주간

[프라임경제]씨앤앰(대표 오규석 www.cnm.co.kr)은 오는 11월 24일부터 12월 3일까지를 “씨앤앰 채널4 다큐 주간”으로 정하고, 총 10편의 다큐멘터리를 매일 오후 8시에 씨앤앰 채널을 통해 방영한다.
이번에 특집 편성되는 다큐멘터리는 씨앤앰이 2007년초부터 10개월 동안 심혈을 기울여 제작한 것으로 휴먼 다큐멘타리 2편을 비롯해 환경다큐 3편, 역사다큐 3편, 시사다큐 2편이 방송된다.
먼저 불가능이라고 여겨졌던 시각 장애인 오케스트라인 ‘하트체임버 오케스트라’의 창단과정에서부터 정기연주회에 이르는 인간승리의 전 과정을 다룬 <소리로 세상을 보는 사람들(11월 24일 오후 8시 방송)>을 비롯해 지하철과 도로 등에서 일어나고 있는 장애인 이동권에 대한 우리사회의 실태와 인식의 문제를 다룬 <공동사회 행복프로젝트(11월 25일 오후 8시)> 등 장애인 관련 다큐멘터리 2편이 방송된다.
특히 <소리로 세상을 보는 사람들>은 제17회 한국가톨릭매스컴상을 12월 11일 수상하게 되었다. 올해 처음으로 SO에서 제작한 다큐멘타리가 추천 및 심사대상에 들어갔으며, <소리로 세상을 보는 사람들>을 제작한 씨앤앰의 홍일 PD와 다큐멘타리 주인공인 하트체임버오케스트라의 이상재 음악감독이 특별상을 수상하게 되었다.
<소리로 세상을 보는 사람들>은 시각장애라는 어려움에 굴하지 않고 음악으로 세상과 소통하고 음악으로 표현하는 시각장애인음악가로 구성된 하트체임버 오케스트라와 단원들에 관한 이야기이다. 음악적 재능이 뛰어남에도 불구하고 직업적 선택이 한정적인 우리나라의 현실 때문에 포기하는 어린 시각장애인 음악가들에게 방향을 제시하고, 희망의 씨앗을 키울 수 있도록 해준다. 남의 도움 없이는 연주석도 찾을 수 없고, 지휘자도 없고, 보면대도 없는 오케스트라. 하지만, 머릿속 자신의 악보를 보며 마음속 깊은 곳까지 울림을 전해주는 오케스트라가 <소리로 세상을 보는 사람들>의 주인공들이다.
한국의 기부문화를 조명하는 <나눔, 그 특별한 행복(11월 26일 오후 8시)>은 우리사회의 기부문화 현황과 새롭게 전개되고 있는 기업과 개인의 나눔의 문화를 살펴 보았다. 제작진은 선진 기부문화의 현주소를 알리기 위해 미국 뉴욕을 방문해 기부를 위한 정보 도서관 격인 파운데이션센터와 유방암재단 소속 수잔지코멘을 만나본다. 제작진은 우리나라처럼 특정 재난과 재해에 의한 이벤트성 기부가 아닌 나에게 가까운 사람을 일상에서 도와준다는 미국의 나눔 문화와 사회적 인식을 카메라에 담아왔다. 더불어 미국 현지 한인사회에서 펼쳐지고 있는 나눔의 선행을 돌아봄으로써 한국인이라서 기부에 인색한 것이 아니라 우리의 기부문화에 새로운 인식과 교육이 필요하다는 점을 전달한다.
또한, 중랑천의 환경문제를 다룬 <중랑천, 지금 그곳에선(11월 28일~29일 오후 8시)>은 정확한 수질 상태를 파악하기 위해 중랑천 유역 10곳을 지정해 2번에 걸쳐 수질검사를 실시했다. 현재 공공기관의 중랑천 수질검사는 4곳만을 선정해 검사를 하고 있어 중랑천의 길이에 비해 수질의 실태 파악이 제대로 되지 않고 있다. 검사결과 중랑천은 공업용수로도 사용하지 못하는 5급 이하가 5곳에서 나타났고, 4급수 3곳, 3급수 2곳으로 드러나 수질오염이 심각한 것으로 조사됐다. 제작진은 중랑천 환경 복원을 위한 해법으로 중랑천 유역 7개 지방자치단체의 하천관리 체계를 일원화하는 방안을 제시하고 , 독일의 엔츠강과 부산의 온천천을 현지 취재해 통합관리의 성공적인 모델을 소개한다 . 또, 민관 협동 체계를 구축해 하천복원과 관리에 성공적 모델인 독일의 네카강과 전라북도 전주시 전주천을 찾아 직접 취재함으로써 중랑천 환경복원에 대한 강한 메시지를 던져준다.
씨앤앰 채널4는 또, 가난하지만 추억과 행복이 있는 달동네 사람들의 훈훈한 이야기를 담은 <월컴 투 달동네(11월 27일 오후 8시)> , 한탄강댐이 건설되면서 사라져가는 문화유산을 기록화하는 <아듀 한탄강! (11월 30일~12월 2일 오후 8시)>과 도시 문화의 새로운 대안을 제시하는 <신 문화지대, 파주 헤이리의 도전(12월 3일 오후8시)>도 방송한다.
