【鐵原】철원군민들이 제1회 한탄강사랑 군민 걷기대회와 다양한 댐건설 반대행사를 펼치며 한
탄강댐 건설 백지화를 염원했다.
한탄강댐건설반대철원군대책위(위원장:장진혁)는 27일 오후2시 한탄강변인 승일교~마당바위
~승일교를 잇는 5㎞구간도로에서 각급 기관 단체장 및 주민 등 700여명이 참가한 가운데 제1회
한탄강사랑 군민 걷기대회를 열고 철원의 젖줄인 한탄강의 소중함을 되새겼다.
이에앞서 의용소방대군연합회원들은 승일광장에서 한탄강댐 건설사업을 조건부 동의해준 국방
부에 대한 항의의 표시로 국방부 화형식을 가졌으며 군여성단체협의회는 각 가정마다 단식에 동
참하는 의미로 쌀을 걷는 헌미식을 갖고 댐건설 백지화를 촉구했다.
또 군민 걷기대회행사를 마친 주민들은 본인의 소망을 나뭇잎에 적어 한탄강물에 띄우는 소망
잎새 띄우기, 승일교 교량난간 자일타기, 정부정책에 항의하기 위한 트랙터시위, 동그라미 연주
회, 서명띠 펼치기, 철조망 자르기 등 다채로운 행사를 개최했다.
이날 행사장에는 한탄강댐 백지화를 촉구하며 11일째 단식농성을 벌이다 탈진해 쓰러졌던 구인
호도의원이 참석해 `한탄강댐 건설 예산 197억원 삭감운동을 비롯 경기도지사의 입장표명 등을
제기, 참가자들의 큰 박수를 받았다.
장진혁군대책위원장은 개회사에서 “노무현대통령이 후보시절 한탄강 댐건설추진과정에서 거론
되는 문제점들을 충분히 검토하고 검증해 사회적 합의를 유도한후 추진해야 한다고 말한 약속을
