 "한탄강댐 백지화 강력 촉구" 시·군의회의장協 청와대·국회·건교부 등 건의 【원주】 도 시·군의회의장협의회가 한탄강댐 건설 백지화를 촉구하는 건의서를 채택하고 천혜 의 자연보고인 한탄강유역 보존을 위해 발벗고 나섰다. 이건실 시·군의회의장협의회장을 비롯한 13개 시·군의회 의장들은 8일 원주시의회에서 제75차 도시·군의회의장협의회를 개최해 철원군의회의장이 제출한 한탄강댐 건설 백지화를 촉구하는 건 의서를 만장일치로 채택하고 청와대와 국회, 건설교통부, 한국수자원공사에 발송키로 했다. 시·군의회의장협의회는 건의서에서 "건설교통부와 한국수자원공사는 원칙과 상식이 철저히 배 제된 한탄강댐 건설계획을 철회하고 임진강 종합치수대책을 새롭게 수립해 임진강 본류에 다양 한 치수 구조물을 설치해야 한다"고 주장했다. 또 "철원군을 비롯한 접경지역 주민들이 '접경지원법제정'으로 그동안의 낙후에서 벗어나 남북 협력단지 및 첨단산업단지를 유치하는 등 획기적인 지역개발을 기대하고 있는 시점에서 한탄강 댐 건설이라는 정부의 잘못된 정책으로 막대한 심적 물적 피해를 받고 있다"며 강원북부 주민을 위한 지원계획과 남북통일의 중심지로서 장기발전계획을 수립해 줄 것을 요구했다. 이주영 jylee@kado.net 기사입력일 : 2003-10-08 22:20  payday loans toronto: Your website is very interesting.
