철원 투쟁위, '백지화 지속 투쟁' 결의문 발송

　한탄강댐 반대 철원군투쟁위(위원장 구선호)가 청와대와 건교부 등에 내용증명을 발송하고 댐 백지화외에 어떤 협상도 단호히 거부한다고 밝혔다.
　9일 투쟁위에 따르면 투쟁위는 지난 6일 임시총회에서 채택한 협상거부 결의문을 8일 오후 중앙관련부처에 보내고 "댐 백지화 투쟁과 관련한 정부와의 협상을 전면 거부한 채 투쟁 레이스를 지속하겠다"고 거듭 천명했다.
　투쟁위는 결의문에서 "건교부가 제시한 것들은 명분과 타당성이 없는 선심성 사업들이며 우리가 간절히 원하는 것은 영월동강과 마찬가지로 이 나라에서 가장 아름다운 한탄강이 영원히 흘러야 한다는 사실 뿐"이라고 주장했다.
　또한 "건교부가 철원군에 접근하는 이유는 지난해 국회에서 올 한탄강댐 사업예산이 통과될 때 '해당지역 주민과 협의하면서 댐 사업을 추진하라'는 부대 조건을 충족시키기 위한 작업에 불과하다"고 일축했다.
　투쟁위 관계자는 "건교부가 철원군에 다목적댐 전용 불가, 지역 숙원사업 해결 등을 내용으로 하는 양자간 협약서를 체결하자는 제안에 지역 일부 단체가 잠시 동요하기도 했지만 이제 모두 제자리로 돌아 왔다"며 "댐 공사를 시작한 후 건교부가 협약을 파기하면 그때 가서 철원주민들은 어떠한 저항 방법도 없게 된다는 점을 알아야 할 것"이라고 강조했다.　 철원/김용식
