'천재 골잡이' 박주영은 후반 종료 직전 동점골로 한국축구를 절체절명의 위기에서 구해냈다.

요하네스 본프레레 감독이 이끄는 한국축구대표팀은 3일 밤(이하 한국시간) 우즈베키스탄 타슈켄트 파크타코르 경기장에서 열린 2006독일월드컵 아시아 최종예선 A조 4차전에서 후반 18분 막심 샤츠키흐에게 선제골을 허용해 0-1로 끌려가다 후반 45분 박주영의 천금같은 동점골에 힘입어 간신히 1-1로 비겼다.

한국은 국제축구연맹(FIFA) 랭킹 54위로 한수 아래인 우즈베키스탄과의 역대전적에서 3승1무1패가 됐고 지난해 7월 본프레레호 출범 이후 9승6무4패를 기록했다.
